Why do I need Emergency First Aid at Work Refresher Training?
The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations require that an employer provide suitable arrangements for rendering First Aid to persons injured at work.
Depending upon your risk assessment, which will determine the quantity & type of qualified assistance you need, persons should be either FAW (First Aid at Work) or as a minimum EFAW (Emergency First Aid at Work) trained.
This training initially MUST be face to face training and courses are three days or one day respectively in length.
First Aid Refresher Training Online
Our First Aid Refresher Training Online course is suitable for those people who have completed either of the aforementioned courses and are in the 'refresher timeframe' or for those of you who just want to get a very good grounding in emergency first aid. Once your face to face certificate has 'run out' or preferably before, you will need to do face to face training again. Both FAW & EFAW face to face certificates last 3 years. The HSE's view on this is here.
This first aid at work refresher training online course will also prepare you for those little emergencies at home which will give you or your delegates the confidence to deal with these incidents as well.
This course is approved by IIRSM and covers the essential knowledge that is needed for the role of "EFAW" person.
